Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met by a Jetara representative and transferred to Kitulgala, also referred to as Sri Lanka’s adventure capital, which takes around 3 hours. Morning breakfast; get ready for a thrilling day of white water rafting along the Kelani River and cruise down exciting rapids amidst beautiful scenery. After the rafting, take lunch at a local restaurant. During the afternoon, go for other adventure activities like canyoning, waterfall abseiling, or mountain biking. Morning after breakfast at the hotel, check out and start a scenic drive to Ella-a breathtakingly beautiful hill country town. The estimated travel time would be around 5 hours. Check into your hotel and have lunch. You can spend the afternoon at leisure by either visiting Ravana Falls  or take a stroll/walk through the beautiful tea plantations. Later in the evening, you can stroll around Ella’s quaint little town and have dinner at a local café. Overnight stay in Ella.

After breakfast, enjoy a zip line over the lush landscapes of Ella for breathtaking views of the valleys and tea estates down below. In the afternoon, after an active morning, have lunch and take a short rest. Then, later in the afternoon, go on a scenic hike up Little Adam’s Peak and feast your eyes with a 360-degree view of the countryside around you. At sunset, head back to your hotel in time for dinner and to unwind. Overnight in Ella.

After breakfast checkout and drive to the Knuckles Mountain Range, considered as one of the most rugged mountain ranges in Sri Lanka, with a wide variety of ecosystems, which will take around 4 hours. You will check-in to your eco-lodge or mountain retreat upon arrival. Lunch will be served. In the afternoon, you will go for a short nature walk in the foot hills of the Knuckles Mountain Range and get familiar with the flora and fauna of this region. Dinner and overnight stay in Knuckle Mountain Range.

Early breakfast, then take a full-day guided hike into the Knuckles Mountain Range. Misty mountains, thick forests, and cascading waterfalls are just some of the sights to be explored. Guided treks through varied landscapes with insight from a knowledgeable guide into the rich biodiversity of this area. Take a packed lunch in this peaceful environment. Afternoon, continue hiking and look out for deer, wild boars, and endemic birds. Later, return to your lodge in the evening for dinner. Overnight in the Knuckles.

After breakfast checkout and proceed to Sigiriya, the city that hosts the world-famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. (Approx. 3.5 hour drive). Check-in at the hotel. Lunch. Later in the afternoon discover the surroundings of Sigiriya on a tour around the local villages or take a nature walk. Later in the evening, dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

After an early breakfast, commence the ascent to the summit of Sigiriya Rock, otherwise known as Lion Rock. Stop en-route and discover the ancient rock fortress through frescoes, the mirror wall, and the Lion’s Paws. Once at the summit, you can marvel at the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Upon your descent, lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. You may either relax in Sigiriya or commence the drive back to Colombo, depending on your flight schedule today (approximately a 4-hour drive). A Jetara representative will assist you with your transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport.
