Have breakfast and check out from the hotel. Transfer to Nuwara Eliya, driving for about 5-6 hours through some of the most beautiful hill country. Check into a luxury tea estate hotel upon arrival. Later, after lunch, take a guided visit to a tea plantation to understand the different stages of tea making and sample different teas. In the evening, you will have a private dinner on an estate with local and international cuisine. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Whole day Nuwara Eliya sightseeing: After having an early breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the Hakgala Botanical Gardens or Gregory Lake. Also, enjoy horseback riding/cycling around the lake. After breakfast at the hotel, check out and start driving to Yala National Park, which will take approximately 4-5 hours to reach. On arrival, check into a luxury safari lodge near the park area.
