Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo. You will be met upon arrival by a Jetara representative who will assist with your transfer to your hotel in Colombo. Check in to the hotel and take the rest of the morning to unwind and freshen up. Later in the afternoon visit the Royal Colombo Golf Club, one of the oldest golf clubs in Asia, for your first day’s golf session. Play a round of golf on its well-maintained greens amidst beautiful surroundings. Later, relax at the club’s facilities after your game. After breakfast, go for an optional morning round at the Royal Colombo Golf Club, or if you want more, take up optional sightseeing in Colombo. Sightseeing would include major attractions like the Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Memorial Hall, and the busy markets of Pettah. Lunch in the afternoon in one of the nearby cafes will follow your afternoon game at the golf club. Begin the morning with breakfast, check out from the hotel, and go for a panoramic drive to Nuwara Eliya, about 5-6 hours away from the city. Generally known as “Little England,” Nuwara Eliya is especially famous for its phenomenal beauty, landscapes, and climatic conditions. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon tee off at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. This pretty course ringed by hills is a test for many a seasoned player. Relax after your game and use the facilities of the club. Optional visit to Nuwara Eliya Golf Club after breakfast for an extra round or for sightseeing at your choice. If you choose to golf, you will have a nice scenic course and cool mountain air. If you are not interested in golfing, you may take an excursion to the Hakgala Botanical Gardens or do a tea estate visit and learn something about Sri Lanka’s famous tea. Take your time over a leisurely lunch in Nuwara Eliya and, this afternoon, indulge in the serene comfort of your hotel or stroll around this beautiful town with its quaint colonial architecture. Enjoy breakfast and check out from your hotel to continue your drive back to Kandy, which is a distance that will take approximately 2.5 hours. En-route, visit the Victoria Golf Club set amidst the breathtaking Victoria Park near Kandy. You can play a round of golf amidst stunning mountain vistas and lush landscapes. Following your game, you can have lunch at the golf club. Later, drive to Kandy and commence a city tour, which includes the Temple of the Tooth, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will be transferred back to Colombo depending on your flight schedule for departure at Bandaranaike International Airport.
