Detailed Itinerary
On arrival at Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport, our Jetara representative will meet and assist in your transfer to Bentota. The journey would take approximately two hours by road. You will check in at your luxury beachfront resort. Bask in the breathtaking views with all well-appointed facilities. Later in the afternoon, relaxing at the beach or opting to enjoy the facilities offered at the resort. In the evening, go for dinner at the beach that will be set up under candlelight. This specially set menu will go along with the romantic atmosphere that you wish to create to celebrate your love. Overnight in Bentota.
Have a leisurely breakfast. Today, you can spend your time as desired. You may simply relax by the pool of the hotel or enjoy some rejuvenating spa treatments at the resort. You can also venture out to the lovely beach in Bentota. For the more adventurous couple, jet skiing, banana boat rides, or snorkeling are also on offer. Have lunch at the resort or at one of the many beachfront cafes available. Later in the day, enjoy a beautiful sunset while taking an evening stroll along the beach. Overnight at Bentota.
After breakfast, go on a whole-day excursion to Galle that is about half an hour away from Bentota. Upon arrival, start a visit to the famous Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a leisurely walk along the cobblestone streets, quaint boutiques, and old buildings that include a lighthouse and a National Maritime Museum. You may have lunch at a local café overlooking the ocean. After this sightseeing, you would be taken to the picturesque Unawatuna Beach, where you can relax. Later in the evening, drive back to Bentota and have dinner at the resort. Overnight stay in Bentota.
Have breakfast at the resort and check out. Transfer to Colombo – about 2 hours of drive. On arrival, check in at your Luxury Hotel. After some time for relaxation, proceed on a Romantic City Tour of Colombo.Visit the attractions like Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Memorial Hall, and Viharamahadevi Park. Have a leisurely lunch at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the city. In the evening, take a local market or shop for some souvenirs. The fine dining restaurant treats you to a Farewell Dinner and raises a toast to your honeymoon. Colombo offers a night stay.
Spend the morning at leisure in your hotel, pamper yourself at the spa or simply lounge around the pool. Depending on your flight timing, you will be transferred to Bandaranaike International Airport for your onward flight.
